The Garrison Family 100 Baby Challenge: June 2012

Last time we left you I was puking my guts out in the bathroom. It turned out that I was pregnant and I quickly got a loan out of the bank for $50,000 and redid the whole basement!

With Ashlee ageing up soon I needed to get her room all done. I went with a green and purple zebra print wallpaper and sheets. I put in a doll house and some other toys for her to play with and of course a laundry hamper so she doesn't throw her clothes all over the floor!

With me finding out about a new pregnancy I made a baby room with little Micky mouse heads all over the wall in pink and blue. I also got a new crib! I put in a highchair and a potty chair in because you know its a baby it needs that stuff! I also put in a few toys for the baby!

I also added a small bathroom for the kids because Ashlee was ageing up soon! I added a toilet, shower, and of course a sink and mirror!

In the bigger room I added a new sculpting table since I really need the money to pay back the loan! I also added a keyboard for when Ashlee ages into a teen later. I can't wait for her to be my little music protegee!

Of course I kept the washing machine and dryer! I added a couple more though for when I have more little ones wandering in the house! I kept the art easel since I was getting better at it and started to earn quite a bit of money!

Overall the basement looked pretty good! I also added a nice little tree house for little Ashlee!

I had finally potty trained her and then she finally got all of her words down so I just needed her to start walking. After many days of trying so hard she finally took her first steps and was walking all around the basement!

I picked her up and kissed her on her forehead. My baby was growing up. She wasn't going to be a baby anymore she was going to be a kid. Running around with her friends and going to school. I was going to be alone at home again. This baby needed to be born soon!

Me: Blow the candles out Ashlee!

Ashlee blew the candles out. I set her down.

She started to spin and the sparkles went everywhere! I couldn't believe she was about to become a child! My first born! A kid going to school and what not :) My baby is growing up!

She got my eyes :) But We were unsure about where her hair color came from. I have red hair and he had black. Shes tanish like I am! She kept her long waves. She looked beautiful.

She loved the color purple! She gained the virtuoso trait which was no surprise! She loves music. She had since the day she was born! I haven't told her about the challenge since she was only a toddler so I decided to talk to her about it. She didn't even know I was pregnant.

Ashlee: Yay! I am finally a kid. I am so happy thank you mommy!

Me: Yes I know sweet heart but I need to tell you something.

Ashlee: Ya mommy you can tell me anything!

Me: Well I am taking a challenge. It isn't an ordinary challenge. Mommy is taking the 100 baby challenge.

Ashlee: What's that?

Me: I am trying to have 100 babies with all different fathers. I will have full custody every day of your life until you are old enough to live on your own and get a job. Then you will move out. But that doesn't mean your daddy doesn't love you he does. I promise you sweety.

Ashlee: Oh.. So when do you have another baby..

Me: Well that's another thing.. I am actually going to have another baby real soon! Mommy is pregenant.

Ashlee: Oh boy! Do you know if it is a boy or a girl? Because I really want a baby sister so she can be just like me! I can dress her up just like me and play peek-a-boo!

Me: Well I won't know until he or she is born. You can feel them kick sometimes here feel my belly.

Ashlee: *feels belly* Woah! I felt it they kicked my hand! That means they like me right mom?

Me: Of course they love you Ashlee! Your there older sister.

I went to go clean up the kitchen and told Ashlee to go to bed in a little while. Ashlee said she would but she wanted to play for a little. I then walked upstairs to clean.

Ashlee: I love you.. I am going to name you Boinky! Your going to be my best friend! *hugs toy*

Me: *yelling from up the stairs* Ashlee it's time for bed you have to get up early tomorrow morning!

Ashlee: Okay mom! Goodnight!

She got into bed and went to sleep. But before she did she lay there and thought about who her father was. Was she ever going to meet him. She thought about all the different brothers and sisters she was going to have. She eventually fell asleep.

About to go to bed I got a call on my phone. It was her moms number...

Me: Hello

Person: Hi Jane! Its Caulette.

Me: Oh My God Caulette! I miss you so much! What is going on? Why are you calling from moms number? I thought you lived with dad?

Caulette: That's the thing. It's mom she got in a car accident she broke her leg and will be in the hospital for a while.. She wants you to come visit her.

Me: Oh! SO shes okay right.. I know I should care but she didn't come to the hospital when I broke my arm. And dad was the first one at the hospital when it happened! And he lived an hour away. There is no way I am going. Sorry sis.

Caulette: Ya shes okay. Ill call you soon okay its late I should be getting to bed. Night!

I hung up the phone..

I dreamt of babies just like a always do. The one in my tummy and the ones to come. I couldn't wait til I had a full house. But I also couldn't stop dreaming of my mom. Even though she never treated me right I still loved her. Maybe I should go see her.

Ashlee dreamt of the spotlight. She new she was going to be on the stage. Playing piano or guitar in front of all the people who could fill the seats. She couldn't wait any longer to be an adult and get a job in the music industry.

When I woke up I went to go make a fresh breakfast. I got all the ingredients out for waffles and made some. I wanted Ashlee's first full day as a kid to be a blast!

When Ashlee got up she made her bed just like a good girl!

She went upstairs and grabbed a plate of waffles and so did I. We talked about how she slept and what she was going to do at school and how to behave.

After breakfast I got a call and school got called off and they sent me a copy of her homework. She did all the dishes like she was supposed to and then she took a shower and went to the bathroom and afterword she could go play in the tree house.

I went outside to garden since I need to make some money to pay back my loan. I pretty much gardened for the whole day. I still need to be level 5 to plant those mystery seeds!

Ashlee went outside and explored her tree house. Which she loved!

Caulette hadn't called yet so I decided to go ahead and call her. I was worried.

Caulette: Jane! Hi sorry I meant to call you but I need to talk to you about something..

Me: Ya what?

Caulette: Well dad and mom...

Me: What?

Caulette: They sort of fell in love all over again

I was speechless on the other end of the line.

Caulette: Jane? You there?

Me: Ya I.. I.. I'm here. Just a little.. little confused.

Caulette: Ya I walked in the room and dad was kissing moms forehead. I drooped my water bottle and stepped back I just can't imagine why he wants her back.

Me: Ya so are you going to stay with them now?

Caulette: Well actually no. I wanted to see if I could stay with you for a week just so I can find an apartment or a small house in Twinbrook to be with you?

Me: Of course you can When will you be here?

Caulette: Later tonight well I have to go okay bye Jane see you soon!

Me: Bye!

I called over Ashlee so I could talk to her about everything.

Me: Ashlee sweety.

Ashlee: Yes mommy

Me: Your Aunt Caulette is going to stay with us for a week or two. Shes my sister and she is going to try to find a small house her in Twinbrook so she can come and see you guys every once in a while.

Ashlee: REALLY? YAY MOMMY! I CANT WAIT I GET TO MEET MY AUNT!

She instantly gave me a hug.

Ashlee: I love you mommy I can't wait!

Me: I love you to Ashlee, I love you to.

We went inside and I started to work on a new painting to again earn some money. Excpesially with the one on the way and Caulette coming soon!

Ashlee went into her room and played with her dolls.

Doll 1: I love you

Doll 2: I love you too Mary.

Ashlee: And they lived happily ever after in a castle full of beautiful butterflies and unicorns :)

I added a new bedroom downstairs for Caulette. I made it in pink and purple her favorite colors. It wasn't much but she won't need it for that long. I was happy she is coming. And happy that she was staying in Twinbrook. My sister and I were separated when my parents divorced which was when I was 7 and she was 5. Mom wanted me I don't know why though all she did was go to the bars and sleep. My sister on the other hand had a wonderful life with warm meals every night and a cozy bed with friends over every weekend. I wish I lived with him to. I didn't know why he didn't try to get me back. Why?

I called walked over to Ashlee and decided to talk to her since she was my daughter and tell her how to act with Caulette.

Me: Ashlee remember when aunt Caulette comes I want you to be on your best behavior. That means you need to listen to her just like you listen to me.

Ashlee: Yes I know mommy and I have to clean my room and be nice and have manners.

Me: Yes good girl..

I was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.

Me: That must be Aunt Caulette!

This is Caulette Garrison! She is a spitting image of her mom. She is just like me with her traits and such. She loves kids. She can't wait to meet little baby 2 and Ashlee!

When she walked in and she hugged me.

Caulette: Jane it is so great to see you! You look wonderful.

She instantly looked at my tummy.

Caulette: Hi there! I'm Auntie Caulette. I bet you are going to be adorable I can already tell!

I laughed as she played peek-a-boo with my unborn baby.

Me: You were always so crazy.

Caulette: OH MM GEE! Were is Ashlee!

Me: Shes downstairs I will show you the way.

I showed her downstairs and Ashlee was waiting in the fun room.

Caulette: Hi sweet heart I am your Aunt Caulette!

Ashlee: Hi! I couldn't wait to meet you! You look so pretty! Like a Princess!

Caulette: Me? A princess? No no no you got it all wrong your the princess! But thank you anyway.

Ashlee: Thank you so much.

Ashlee hugged Caulette. She loved her she was like a second mom even though she only knew her for 5 minutes. She will get to know her. She was beautiful. Just like Ashlee's mom. It was the eyes they matched Jane's.

They went outside and played tag for a little while and then Ashlee showed her around the house and then went into the tree house. Caulette decided it was probably time for Ashlee to go to bed since it was getting late.

When they came downstairs I was painting.

Me: Ashlee it's about time for bed take a shower first though!

Ashlee: I know Aunt Caulette said it was time to go to bed!

Caulette: Yeah I made sure she was inside so she could wake up nice and early for school tomorrow.

Me: Thanks Claude.

Caulette and I talked and caught up for a little while and Ashlee took a shower and got into bed I gave her a kiss goodnight and Caulette gave her a hug.

A few more minutes after Ashlee went to bed I felt the worst pain ever. I knew it was the baby. I was in labor. I knew I wanted to have this one at home.

Caulette: Jane. are you sure you don't want me to take you to the hospital.

Me: No I am having this baby at home. But can you go get some towels a lot of towels and there is a blanket in the closet in my room that's in a box and it says labor on it. I need to lay on it so the floor stays clean.

She went and got the blanket and 4 hours into labor I had a beautiful baby....

BOY! Little Brently! He looks just like his daddy! But who knows he might start to look like his mommy! She wants at least one of her 100 kids to look like her! He is sort of like her. He is artistic and brave. I don't have either of those traits but it definitely describes me. I like art and I am definitely brave for taking on this challenge!

After the labor I cleaned up and put Brently in his crib. I immediately went to bed knowing she had to wake up early to get Ashlee ready for her first day of school! When I walked in Caulette and Ashlee were already awake and eating breakfast.

Caulette: Ashlee did you finish your homework?

Ashlee: Oh poop! I forgot! Let me finish eating!

Me: You can have me check it if you want Ashlee.

Ashlee: Yeah you can!

Me: Thanks Claude!

Caulette: No problem Jane! I already showed her little Brently!

Ashlee: Ya! He is the cutest little boy ever mommy! I finally have a baby brother! I can't wait til there is a sister!

Caulette went downstairs and I stayed upstairs and ate and cleaned off the table.

Ashlee: Mommy I am ready can you check it?

Me: Yes I can! *I checked it* Numbers 2 and 9 are wrong you don't add you subtract.

Ashlee: Thanks bunches mommy.

Downstairs Caulette started to work on her sculpting skill by working with some clay. She needed to start working on something before she moved out. I said there was some openings in the hospital for a test subject but she really didn't think that was a right career for her. I thought it was.

I was upstairs and decided I needed to do some cleaning. I cleaned the stove and the fridge out they were truly repulsive!

I went downstairs and took Brently out of his crib.

Me: Hi baby Brently how are you today?

Brently just spit all over the place. He didn't know a word. I kissed his cheek.

Me: You are my first baby boy!

I set him down and gave him a bottle. He drank it right up. I looked at the clock and ran upstairs it was 6:57! In 3 minutes Ashlee had to be on the bus!

Me: Ashlee! It is time for your first day are you excited?

Ashlee: Are you kidding me mom? I am super duper excited!

I leaned down and gave her a hug.

Me: I love you Ashlee. Forever and Always.

Ashlee: I love you to mommy.

Just as she finished her sentence we were interrupted by the honk of the bus horn. I was almost tempted to cry. My first baby was going to school. I can't even imagine how it's going to be like when my 100th baby is leaving.

I went downstairs and decided to talk to Caulette.

Me: Hey.

Caulette: Hey Jane how are you this morning. Have you been crying?

Me: Yeah. I have actually. and kinda bad.

Caulette: Why? Are you okay?

Me: Yeah.. It's just that Ashlee is my first kid. And she is growing up so fast! I am just going to miss her when she leaves and finds a man to live with and I am going to have grand kids.

Caulette: Jane. That is so far away! And just think there is so many more kids you are going to have! You will never have an empty house! It will always be full with your kids.

Me: Yes I know but I am going to miss them when they leave.

Caulette: They are going to send pictures. Lots of them! I promise.

Me: Okay.

Me: So hows mom?

Caulette: I called last night and told her that your second baby was born. And she said she loves them very much. She is okay. She is getting out of the hospital tomorrow. There staying in Bridgeport.

Me: Well that's good. I am going to check on Brently. See if hes doing okay.

I walked into Brently's room and he was playing with the block table. I walked over and picked him up. I brought him to the toilet.

Me: Come one Brently go potty!

Brently: *giggles* BOO

I could tell this was going to be hard!

After he went potty he went straight to the block table! He was my little builder! :)

Caulette was getting really good at sculpting! She was so excited after she made this!

I went outside and stared at my garden. I haven't worked on it that much lately. I went outside and started to work on it. I started to think what if we move? I will lose the garden. I think we should move soon since this lot isn't going to work forever. I need a big house. For my children to live in. For my grandchildren to come and visit. For my someday great grandchildren to visit. To have bug family Christmas get together.

Caulette had to do the laundry. She found a small house and was moving in in a couple of days. I am going to miss her even though she will be right down the street! But what if I move? Yeah she will be across town. But that is to far!

She started to sculpt again. She loved it! She also gave the money too me. So Yeah I love it too :)

I did some cleaning. I needed to catch up! Sense I had Brently my hands have been full! He needs a lot of attention! Not that I don't like it because I do. But he hangs on me like a monkey!

When Ashlee came home from school she brought her friend Robby.

Ashlee: Mommy! This is Robby!

Me: Well Hello there Robby I am Miss Garrison.

Robby: Hi Miss Garrison

Ashlee: Mommy were going to go in the tree house!

Me: Okay but at 4 it is homework time!

Ashlee: Let's just do it now so we can play afterward!

Robby: Okay let's go!

I went downstairs and gave Brently his 3 o'clock bottle. I couldn't help but think about my challenge and how I needed love from just one person. I wanted to have someone to enjoy this challenge with. Not just me and my kids. But I just haven't found the one. Maybe I will along the way somewhere.

Ashlee did her math homework and Robby did his reading. They were so cute! My daughter has a beautiful life. I am so happy for her.

After eating I decided to teach Brently how to walk! He did pretty good! I needed to hold his hands a lot more than I had to with Ashlee but he is just different than Ashlee which I know everyone of my children will be different! And that's why I will love them all!

After he took his first steps I was so happy I threw him up in the air and he laughed and smiled. I love him! :)

After Robby left everyone went to bed. It surprised me that Caulette was dreaming of babies! Is she going to be like me? Doing the challenge? Or does she just want a couple kids? Hmm! Who knows!

Of course as usual I dreamt of wonderful kids! :) I need to start looking for father 3!

And of course Ashlee dreamt of being on the stage and playing piano beautifully!

Brently looks so adorable when hes sleeping! But don't all babies?!

When I woke up Caulette was in the kitchen getting some leftovers from the fridge. I did the same. I got some leftover cake! It isn't very healthy but it was very yummy! Ashlee came up later and had some cereal. She loves Cherry Berry Crunch!

Caulette did some laundry and went back and did some sculpting. She was getting really good she could finally start using wood and she wasn't that bad at it!

When I went upstairs I found Ashlee sitting at the table just looking at her plate.

Me: Ashlee? You feeling okay? * I felt her forehead

Ashlee: Ya mommy I'm fine. It's just....

Me: Yes?

Ashlee: Where's grandma and grandpa?

Me: There in Bridgeport about 4 hours away. Why?

Ashlee: We are having a grandparents day at school tomorrow. I want them to come.

Me: Um well Grandma just got out of the hospital she was in an accident. Sorry baby I promise next time there is something at school I will do my best to make what ever it is happen!

Ashlee: There's the bus! Got to go mommy love you bye!

Me: Bye sweety!

When she got on the bus she looked out the window and watched all the houses go by. How big they were compared to her small little house. She wanted a big house with millions of rooms and toys and a pool! But she knew that money is tight.

I almost have little Brently fully potty trained! I love the feeling when I fully teach my little toddler to do something!

He once again goes straight to his block table! He loves building new towers and being a "tornado" and knocking them down. He laughs every time but then he builds them back up and does the same thing!

I once again clean the house. With 2 adults a kid and a toddler things get pretty messy!

Again Caulette spends her day sculpting! She loves it! I wish she would find a job though!

I almost forgot about paying the bills! So much stress! I have to clean, pay bills, and take care of the kids! I also have to make money to do everything!

I go to the garden and harvest all my plants. I started thinking of when and if we move. I decided that if we do I am going to take 1 piece of fruit or vegetable and plant it at my new house. Just to save the memory of the garden!

After taking a bath the stupid faucet broke and water started flying everywhere so I had to call the repair man!

I then decided to make some peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I put them in the fridge to eat at dinner. Ashlee did her homework right when she got home and didn't say a word. I wonder if she is mad at me?

I went and talked to Caulette.

Me: Hey.

Caulette: What's wrong? You look upset!

Me: Well Ashlee is having a grandparents day at school tomorrow and dad and mom can't come.

Caulette: It's okay I am sure shes fine!

Me: Yeah I guess. I am going to go check on Brently and dinners in the fridge! I will be right up!

I walked into Brently's room and I was so happy! He was using the potty! I ran over and grabbed him in a hug.

Me: I love you Brently! Good job!

I kissed his forehead and he giggled. I then realized I should probably teach him to talk soon! He was almost walking and he is potty trained!

I walked upstairs and we all sat down at the table for once we were all eating as a family! I was excited!

Ashlee: Mommy! Guess what!

Me: What sweety?

Ashlee: We have a new class at school and it's music! I am going to start learning the piano!

Me: Well That's good! When do you start?

Ashlee: Tomorrow!

We talked some more about her music class and then we talked about other things like food and about maybe finding a new house and she was super excited!

I almost had little Brently walking! He was getting close to walking around all by himself!

Ashlee played with the block table for once! She had different ways of playing with them than her little brother. She built little towns and had her dolls live in them. She was so adorable!
